W-R-Y-aR (Old Norse Freyr), the
male fertility god ca. 12 ft. west of the main sun-god figure at
Peterborough, Ontario. He is
accompanied by his symbol, a ship upended as a phallic monument. The god himself is shown as ithyphallic
(Fell 1982). |
