            like but extended mesodorsally into a thick spine (Fig.A); eyes very small or vestigial,

            ocelli mostly absent; at least hind tibia shorter than femur; male wingless (much modified)

            or short-winged, wing stumps often as short filaments, rarely with narrow wing blade;

            body yellowish to dark brown or black, with shortened spiny tibiae, tarsal segments often  

            very reduced; not parasitic and collected from fig fruits (Figs.B-F)...........……..........…......Agaonidae
