Drosophila Transgenic Services

Upon receipt from customer of 50 mg of Qiagen-purified DNA for each P-element construct Genetic Services Inc. will perform the following:

Purify the DNA prior to injections.
Provide the helper P-element plasmid (Δ2-3) for injections
Collect the larvae and rear them to adulthood
Cross the G₀ adults to w¹¹¹⁸ flies and then collect G₁ adults with eye color to generate independent lines.

Customer to indicate if markers are of any kind other than w[+] P-elements.
