I have been working in the Departamento de Agroecología which belongs to the Centro de Ciencias Medioambientales (CSIC) in Spain for ten years, first with Dr. María Arias who directed my Doctoral Thesis on the identification and characterization of virus transmitting nematodes of the Family Trichodoridae in Spain, and since 1998 I have been working with Prof. Antonio Bello on alternatives to methyl bromide, like biofumigation under greenhouses and on extensive agriculture and through the use of grafting plants. Since March 2003, I am working with Dr. Ploeg mainly on management of root-knot nematodes.
