Third International Conference of Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry in Africa. Organizers have announced the next safari/comparative physiology meeting in southern Africa following two highly successful previous meetings (see bottom of this page for a report on the Chobe (Second) meeting.

The American Naturalist
2002 MEETINGS; SYMPOSIUM SUGGESTIONS SOUGHT. In 1999, the Executive Board decided that the ASN would meet by itself (without other societies) in 2002. This meeting will be held at Banff, Alberta, July 11-15, Thursday-Sunday, 2002. We are intent on organizing a particularly luminous set of symposia for this special event.
